TOURNAMENT DESCRIPTION
Nestled in the hills of the St. Croix River is Hudson, Wisconsin, home to beautiful views, bustling bars and restaurants, flowing waterfalls and the Rivertown Showdown. This spring, teams will join from all over the midwest to compete in a friendly hockey environment in the first annual Rivertown Showdown.
All games will take place the Hudson Sports & Civic Center conveniently located just off Highway 94 and minutes from restaurants, bars and hotels. Loaded with a variety of food and fun, there will be no lack of things to do when you’re not on the ice.
Come and join us May 19th-22nd at the Rivertown Showdown for some hockey and fun! Join us to connect with friends, drink a beer or two and obviously play some PUCK!

- 4 game guarantee
- Join as team or as a Free Agent

Please use this as a loose guideline for the divisions. Please reach out with any questions regarding where you should play. We will do our best to make this as even as possible. We also have the ability to add another division or level as needed to accomodate as long as the teams become available.
Men’s A
AHA Levels A/B1 and Above – Traditionally faster competitive hockey.
Men’s B
For Joe’s with a little experience or maybe older bones looking for some moderate competition.
AHA Levels B1 and below.
Women’s Upper
A2–B1 WHAM classification
Women’s Lower
B2 and below
Root Beer Division
Junior Gold or JV Level – Some varsity ok!
SHOWDOWN 2023 PRICES
Team fee – 4 Game Guarantee – $1,050.00 U.S. Funds
*** Teams will take preference. Free agents will be placed as needed as well as per division based upon skill. We will do our best to place you in our tournament but it is not guaranteed. Refund for unplaced free agents will receive full fee less a 10$ fee.
