Adult hockey league players in action during a St. Paul game

🏒 Hamm’s League – St. Paul’s Adult Hockey League

Hamm’s League is St. Paul’s premier Adult Hockey League, created by the 4 The Love of Puck community to bring a fun and competitive edge to the Twin Cities hockey scene. What began as casual pick-up skates has since grown into a full adult hockey league with A–D divisions for every skill level — from beginners to experienced beer league players.

In addition, our unique draft format adds excitement to team building while keeping the league balanced and fun. As a result, no two seasons feel the same, and players of all levels can enjoy the game together.

Why Join Our Adult Hockey League in St. Paul?

Registration is now open for the upcoming season:

  • 22 games per team
  • Thursday and Friday night ice times
  • Just a $50 deposit secures your spot

Because of this simple process, players can secure their place quickly and focus on the ice. If you’re searching for a welcoming yet competitive adult hockey league in Minnesota, Hamm’s League offers the perfect balance of fun and competition.

Meanwhile, whether you’re joining as a free agent or bringing a full team, Hamm’s League makes joining an adult hockey league in St. Paul easy and accessible. In fact, many players return season after season because of the league’s draft system and community atmosphere.

Season Format and Schedule

Every season is designed to give players the most ice time possible. Games are held weekly on Thursday and Friday nights, and each team plays a 22-game schedule. Therefore, you always know when and where you’ll be skating.

For example, Thursday games may be scheduled at TRIA Rink in downtown St. Paul, while Friday nights rotate through Augsburg and Ramsey County arenas. This variety keeps the season exciting while making sure ice times work for everyone.

Adult Hockey League Divisions (A–D)
  • A Division (Advanced): Fast-paced, highly competitive hockey.
  • B Division (Intermediate): Classic beer league action.
  • C Division (Novice): Ideal for newer or returning players.
  • D Division (Beginner): Designed for true beginners learning the game.

Therefore, no matter your background, there is a place for you in Hamm’s League. For example, beginners who start in D Division often build confidence and move up to C Division the next season.
