CV Masters is a UK career writing business that offers a cover letter writing service uk applicants can use for jobs that ask for a supporting statement instead of a short covering note. Applications to schools, universities, councils and the NHS often come with a person specification, and the letter is scored against it point by point. A general letter that sounds good but skips the criteria can lose marks even when the applicant is well qualified. The writers read the person specification and job description together and list each essential and desirable requirement. They then match every one with a real example from the client’s work, study or volunteering. The statement is organised under clear headings or short paragraphs so a shortlisting panel can find each answer quickly, and it is kept within any word limit. Examples are written with specific detail, such as what the person did and what changed. Clients can also have the CV and LinkedIn profile updated so they agree with the statement.
