Along the way, you’ll play international hockey games against local clubs,

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

🇨🇦 Can Canadians join the trip?

Absolutely. We regularly have travelers joining from Canada and other countries. As long as you can arrive to the starting city, you’re welcome to join the adventure.

✈️ Can I fly from anywhere?

Yes. Travelers come from all over North America and beyond. You simply book your flights to the trip’s starting city, and we’ll take it from there once the group begins.

👫 Can I bring my wife, husband, partner, or significant other?

Definitely. These trips are designed to be great for both players and non-players. Hockey is a major part of the experience, but there’s also sightseeing, food, nightlife, beaches, mountains, culture, and plenty of downtime built into the trip.

🏒 What level of hockey are these trips?

The overall experience comes first. We all love winning hockey games, but these trips are ultimately about travel, culture, camaraderie, and enjoying the journey together.

We recommend players have a decent amount of hockey experience and feel comfortable in organized game situations. Beginner skaters generally are not the best fit for the on-ice portion of the trip.

We do our best to coordinate games against teams of similar skill level, but every country and hockey market is different. Some matchups may be more competitive than others — we adapt, compete, and enjoy the experience regardless.

✅ Do I need to try out?

Nope. There are no formal tryouts.

We do like learning about your hockey background, experience level, and travel expectations beforehand to make sure the trip is a good fit for everyone involved.

🛏️ Do I have to share a hotel room?

No. You can absolutely request your own private room for an additional single-room supplement fee.

We also do our best to pair solo travelers with roommates whenever possible. However, depending on room availability, timing, and traveler pairings, a roommate may not always be available.

In those cases, a solo room supplement may apply.

🍻 What’s the overall vibe of the trips?

Social, organized, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Some people come solo, some come with teammates or partners, but by the end of the trip it usually feels more like traveling with a team than a tour group.

📅 How far in advance should I sign up?

As early as possible. Hotels, transportation, and ice time all need to be secured well ahead of departure, and many trips have limited roster spots available.

Travel & On-Ice Hockey Insurance

All players participating in on-ice hockey activities are required to carry travel and on-ice hockey insurance coverage for the duration of the trip.

  • Emergency medical coverage while abroad
  • Coverage for on-ice hockey activities and equipment
  • Travel delay and baggage protection options
  • 24-hour travel assistance services available

We will provide a recommended insurance option for eligible travelers after registration. Travelers are responsible for reviewing and selecting coverage that fits their individual needs.

Coverage availability and eligibility may vary depending on country of residence.
