CROATIA & SO MUCH MORE!

Croatia, but that’s not all! Experience the best that Europe has to offer through a 12-day journey of unique destinations, historic sites, and bustling cities. You’ll learn to speak the universal language of hockey when you play in six exhibition games with locals. The itinerary for this once in a lifetime trip offers a great balance of hockey and site seeing. Whether you like to go with the flow of a large group or explore on your own – you’ll find time to check off everything on your bucket list.

The trip with culminate with a stop in the ancient Croatian Coastal City of Zadar. Zadar was founded in the 9th century B.C. and offers some breathtaking historic sites and sea-side wonders. With no hockey rinks nearby, you’ll have ample time to explore the rich history of the city, indulge in Croatian wine, and take a dip in the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea.

🛡️ Travel Insurance – Highly Recommended

We strongly encourage all travelers to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect their investment in the trip.

While we do our best to deliver a smooth and unforgettable experience, unexpected events can happen — from illness or injury to flight cancellations or personal emergencies.

Why Travel Insurance Matters:

  • Deposits and payments are non-refundable after certain dates

  • Insurance may reimburse you for lost payments due to covered situations

  • Most policies cover:

    • Trip cancellation or interruption

    • Medical emergencies while abroad

    • Lost, damaged, or delayed baggage

    • Missed flights or travel delays

🏒 On-Ice Activity Insurance (Required for Players)

All participants engaging in on-ice hockey activities are required to carry their own appropriate hockey or sports insurance coverage.

This coverage should include:

  • Injury protection while participating in ice hockey

  • International medical coverage (if coming from outside Europe or the U.S.)

  • Proof of valid hockey insurance may be requested prior to travel

This is for your protection and ours — we want everyone to play hard, stay safe, and have peace of mind.

Please note:

Not all cancellations qualify for reimbursement under every policy — we recommend speaking with a travel insurance provider to find the right plan for your needs.

You are responsible for securing your own travel and hockey-related insurance.
4 The Love of PUCK is not liable for expenses or losses resulting from cancellations, injuries, or unplanned disruptions during the tour.
