🛡️ Travel Insurance – Highly Recommended

We strongly encourage all travelers to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect their investment in the trip.

While we do our best to deliver a smooth and unforgettable experience, unexpected events can happen — from illness or injury to flight cancellations or personal emergencies.

Why Travel Insurance Matters:

  • ✅ Deposits and payments are non-refundable after certain dates

  • ✅ Insurance may reimburse you for lost payments due to covered situations

  • ✅ Most policies cover:

    • Trip cancellation or interruption

    • Medical emergencies while abroad

    • Lost, damaged, or delayed baggage

    • Missed flights or travel delays

🏒 On-Ice Activity Insurance (Required for Players)

All participants engaging in on-ice hockey activities are required to carry their own appropriate hockey or sports insurance coverage.

This coverage should include:

  • Injury protection while participating in ice hockey

  • International medical coverage (if coming from outside Europe or the U.S.)

  • Proof of valid hockey insurance may be requested prior to travel

This is for your protection and ours — we want everyone to play hard, stay safe, and have peace of mind.

Please note:

Not all cancellations qualify for reimbursement under every policy — we recommend speaking with a travel insurance provider to find the right plan for your needs.

You are responsible for securing your own travel and hockey-related insurance.
4 The Love of PUCK is not liable for expenses or losses resulting from cancellations, injuries, or unplanned disruptions during the tour.
